The delicate art of (Deep Cove) parking

For training runs that start or end at Panorama Park in Deep Cove, please be aware of local parking restrictions. We encourage all runners to carpool to all training runs to minimize traffic and parking congestion. (Alternately, you can paddle board into the park if you’re really keen.) A “Party in the Park”!

I am thrilled to let you know about some changes to this year’s event. While the banquet has been a staple of our day for many years, your feedback over the last while is that it’s ‘good’ but not our hoped for ‘OUTSTANDING!’. So we’ve listened and this year, we...

Race day photos from Mike Jones

Mike Jones juggled two cameras at Panorama Park in order to capture the finishers and the scene around the finish line. It was a very busy place with runners, family, friends, medals, massages, dips into Deep Cove, aid station treats, sponsors, Dave Norona, hugs and high fives. To see it all, go to Mike’s photos here.  ...

But through the magic of Photoshop, Wolf Eilers–thank you, Wolf!–added the finishing times to these photos....

Race day photos from Salvador Miranda

Photographers have knarly injuries too.  Salvador slipped while taking a better position for fast approaching runners, scrapped his leg bloody and his camera lens hit a rock.  Leg will heal.  Camera lens not so lucky and now “limping”. 🙁 Salvador Miranda (Knee Knacker veteran) race day photos from 400 metres east of Panorama Park are here.
