“With just over 8 km left of the Knee Knacker, runners hit the jackpot at Hyannis. The casino-themed aid station had a few aces up their sleeves in the form of water buckets, a hose and freezies. On an incredibly warm day, it was the best pick-me-up the runners could ask for, to get them through this last stretch. Once properly soaked and fuelled, some left with a freezie or two. You can see from the photos just how excited they were about them. Sometimes the simplest things are what you need to burst through that wall.
