Fundraising, photographs, and bears in the woods
Can you believe that just seven people have raised over $3,500 so far for North Shore Rescue this year? That’s an incredible effort, so many thanks goes to this amazing group. If you’d like to read their stories or contribute to their campaigns, go here. (To see all the campaigns, click Search with a blank first and last name.) To create your own campaign, go to our fundraising page.
Besides the fundraising campaign, another way that we raise money for North Shore Rescue is sales of all official event photographs. These consist of both race day photos and training run photos. No matter where you are in the event we’ve got you covered, and you’ve responded generously in return, purchasing 1,692 photos (a buck each, everything goes to North Shore Rescue) since 2010!
Finally, if you’re running at next week’s first official Sunday training run, don’t panic should you hear a “click” while running. It’s not a bear waiting to pounce; it’s probably one of our photographers capturing you flying through the trails!
