Fundraising for NSR – Sprint Finish!

In the best sprint finish in an ultra, Barb Wilkins and Jessica Thompson have jointly raised $9565 for North Shore Rescue! This is phenomenal! Within $100 back and forth for days, our reigning champion Barb Wilkins was inched out by an incredible finish by Jessica.

I put the challenge out there that if they raised a combined total of $10000, we would grant them each a coveted spot. Astutely, Enzo just pointed out that we have $710 in ‘general’ donations… which we have now allocated to Barb and Jessica!

So… Jessica, congratulations on being our top fundraiser for 2022. Amazing. And Barb, what a battle. Congratulations on pushing the total to get the second coveted spot. You two are incredible. Thank you to all of your friends and family who donated.

We will leave the donation pages up until after Knee Knacker in case anyone still wants to donate. Since 2012 on this platform, our knee Knacker community has donated over
$100,000.
