“Up! Up! And Away! From just above sea level to the top of Black Mountain in less than five kilometres! Crazy! It really is quite a spectacular feat when you consider that this is typically a whole race for some people. With Knee Knacker, it’s only the beginning of an amazing journey of perseverance and determination. The race really begins after descending into the first aid station at Cypress Bowl. On Black, you may have hit the high point in terms of elevation but hopefully not in spirit. Save that for the Party in the Park in Deep Cove, a mere 43 kilometres further.” …Tom Craik
