2013 helicopter videos and race interviews

Before the year ends in mere hours, we’re releasing the long awaited helicopter footage of this year’s race around Eagle Bluffs and Black Mountain. We delayed releasing it because we originally wanted to use the videos as part of a bigger project, but that became more complex and time consuming than expected. So what you’ll see instead are the raw, unedited helicopter videos and pre-race interviews with several race participants.
There are three videos:
- Video 1: Pre-race interviews (Kelsy, Marianne, Ron) and the race start.
- Video 2: Aerial footage of runners going to Cypress Bowl aid station (00:00 – 02:48) and on-the-ground coverage at Cypress Bowl aid station (02:48 onwards).
- Video 3: Aerial footage of the race at Eagle Bluffs and Black Mountain.
