Hello Knee Knacker Ultra-trailrunners, Volunteers and Guests!
It’s less than two weeks before the BIG DAY. Here are the details for the 2009 Knee Knackering North Shore Trail Run Celebration Banquet
RSVP NEEDED
- If you’re a volunteer, please RSVP to your captain or co-ordinator by Monday, July 6.
- If you’re a runner, please RSVP by Wednesday, July 8. Also indicate if you’ll need any guest tickets.
BANQUET VENUE AND DIRECTIONS
For the fifth consecutive year, the banquet will be held at:
Parkgate Community Centre
3625 Banff Court

The Awards Banquet will be held at Parkgate Community Centre (3625 Banff Court, North Vancouver). Below are detailed directions and maps to get there from the Finish Line in Deep Cove (actually Honey’s Doughnuts at 4373 Gallant Avenue).
EVENT TIMES (Saturday, July 11)
- 5:15 PM – Banquet hall and cash bar open.
6:00 PM – Dinner service starts.
7:15 PM – Dinner service ends.
7:00 PM – Awards presentation starts.
9:30 PM – Finished, until next year!

Tommy’s Catering wil serve a buffet style dinner. There are three entree options, but you’ll only select one when you’re at the buffet station. Please note that there is only a limited quantity of entrees—once an item is gone, that’s it! For dessert, we have treats from Sweet Arts Bakery, which our volunteers will serve to each table.

COST
If you’re a volunteer, you will receive a complimentary banquet ticket from your captain or the co-ordinator responsible for your area.
If you’re a runner, you are admitted at no charge. Your runner’s complimentary banquet ticket will be in your race package. You MUST pick up your package and register during Race Packet Pickup & Registration on Thursday (July 9) or Friday (July 10) at North Shore Athletics.
Runner’s guest tickets can be reserved in advance when you RSVP. Your guest tickets will be ready for purchase and pick up at Packet Pickup. Guest tickets cost:
– Adult: $15
– Children ages 5-16: $10
– Kids under 5: $5
A limited number of extra guest tickets may be available for purchase at Packet Pickup and at the Banquet.
