Eagle Bluffs race day photos from Ivan Yastrebov

“At Eagle Bluffs finally, after we ascend the seemingly unending and relentless steep climbing! We know we still have to climb to the top of Black, and that there are other climbs in the program.  However, they will a lot easier and shorter than what’s been up to here.  Unfortunately, due to the squall, some runners only saw a glimpse of the most beautiful view of the whole Knee Knacker course (other than the approaching finish line at Panorama Park).”.  …Salvador Miranda, 3 times Knee Knacker finisher

During the heaviest deluge in the early morning, Ivan hiked to Eagle Bluffs to take photos as the runners reached Eagle Bluffs.   After Eagle Bluffs, he raced off Black Mountain to get to Seymour Aid Station to take more photos.   Thank you, Ivan for your commitment and efforts.
