Download pictures for a buck each
Karen Chow and her crew of volunteer photographers have taken, and continue to take, hundreds of great photos of the training runs and the race. Each of these images can be purchased as a digital download from our SmugMug site for a nominal fee of $1 (US) for each picture (in its original size). All net revenue generated from these sales go directly to North Shore Rescue, in addition to our regular annual contribution.
When you are browsing through pictures in any of our galleries, look for the 
button, located just above the top right corner of the picture. Click that button and follow the easy-to-use shopping cart features of SmugMug – lots of help is available on their site. On check-out, you may use any major credit card for payment.
One point about downloading any image is that it entitles you to a Personal Use License, which is stated explicitly on the SmugMug site. We are repeating it here for reference:
- This license is for personal use only. Personal use means non-commercial use of the image(s) for display on personal websites and computers, or making prints for personal use. The image(s) may not be used in any way whatsoever in which you charge money, collect fees, or receive any form of remuneration. The image(s) may not be used in advertising. The image(s) may not be resold, relicensed, or sub-licensed.
- Title and ownership, and all rights now and in the future, of and for the image(s) remain exclusively with the photographer.
- There are no warranties, express or implied. The image(s) are provided ‘as is.’
- Neither photographer nor SmugMug will be liable for any third party claims or incidental, consequential or other damages arising out of this license or buyer’s use of the image(s).
